UPDATE May 22, 10 a.m.: Upon further assessment, the Community Center will remain closed through Saturday, May 23, 2026. However:
- We are still able to accommodate rentals for all customers who have reserved spaces at the Community Center for Saturday, May 23.
- All outdoor league events will continue as scheduled.
This remains a fluid situation, and the safety of our patrons and staff, while still maintaining operations, is our top priority. Updates regarding reopening timeframes and operational impacts will be provided as more information is forthcoming.

UPDATE: Pending approval of an assessment Friday, May 22, the Community Center will be open in a limited capacity Saturday, May 23, 2026:
- We will still honor rentals for all customers who have reserved spaces at the Community Center for Saturday, May 23. The bathrooms on the Administration side of the building will remain available to rental customers.
- The plan is to open the Blue Gym for open play on Saturday, May 23. The weight room will also remain open.
- Blue Gym and Weight Room patrons will have access to the outdoor restrooms behind the Recreation side of the Community Center.
- All fitness classes scheduled for Saturday, May 23 are canceled.
- No more than 100 patrons will be allowed into the Community Center at any given time on Saturday, May 23.

Dear Brushy Creek MUD residents,
Due to an unexpected chemical odor associated with ongoing building improvement work, the Community Center will be closed effective immediately through at least Saturday, May 23. Depending on conditions within the building, the closure may extend through Sunday.
The safety and comfort of our residents, visitors, and staff remain our top priority. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure the facility is ready to reopen safely.
